Latest Updates from Our Project:

Mechritter: Urban Mouse and Machine Roleplaying / Ten Days Until Launch
11 months ago – Sun, Oct 26, 2025 at 02:34:15 AM

Hi everyone!

With just ten days until Mausritter Month launches, I wanted to post some more about our project, Mechritter, and show off some of the locations, factions and fun stuff!

First of all, a little summary of what Mechritter is all about. This is an all-ages mech hack of the base game, perfect for everyone. You build your mech using a modular, sticker based system which is intuitive and straightforward. Just peel off stickers from our sheets and stick them on your character sheet to gain new abilities for your mech. If you’d like to directly follow the project you’ll be the first to hear when we launch, and for the first 24 hours there are discounts on all tiers.

Appealing to all-ages doesn’t mean making something shallow. Mechritter is set on a London high street, the setting is a look into the decline of the British high street and the post 2008 economic reality. This is all seen through the lens of cute little animals contending with closing stores, new automated systems, and a city that never quite goes to bed.

Since we set the project up, we’ve been hard at work developing our sticker sheets. Our sticker artist Kristen has been developing pieces based on beloved chains which closed down; Woolworths, Wilko, the artists formerly known as WH Smiths and more.

Kayla has also put together layout demonstrations with Gustavo’s art. These show off some of the factions in the game, which are all centered around different shops on the high street.

The Skeleton Keyes and the Junk Foodies may not like each other, but they both have big struggles to face. A new regime in the MacDougals has disrupted the Junk Foodies’ regimes. Meanwhile, the Skeleton Keys' daredevil antics drove a wedge between them and the other mech capable gangs. They’ve been safe in the walls of Tim & Son’s for generations but now they want more, they want the whole street.

See you all in ten days!
